Heineken is conquering the ad world again with its brand movie “The Date”, but is also aiming at the social media world with the excellent Facebook app “The Serenade”. Riding the Old Spice wave of interactive videos the app allows you to send a fully personalized Serenade to a prospective date via Facebook. Although it’s targeted at the annoying Valentines Day audience, the fact that the serenades are available in some 20 languages makes the app worth your while. The creative idea comes from Wieden + Kennedy and is developed by a UK based digital arts company.
